The Leaves are Falling

Monday, September 30, 2013
It's Monday again and I can't believe it's the last day of September. Eugene has been busy trying to capture some of our beautiful maple leaves but as you can see from the pictures they just haven't turned the deep red and golds yet. The frost is coming and every day they get a little brighter. It won't be long that we will have to take time from our busy schedules to rake all those leaves up.

Today's quilt is very fitting to our blog topic for Jeanne Kaye has already gathered her leaves together to make this excellent fall quilt. The colors are exactly what you see outside today. This quilt is a prize winner for sure and if I'm not mistaken, it won a first at the Fredericton Exhibition this year. Congratulations! Jeanne Kaye. This quilt is 66" x 76" and was quilted using the pattern "Maple Dance" at 10 inches. The pictures will speak a thousand words, so enjoy this beauty.
