It's lily time in the garden now, although you can't see them from this view. The garden is loaded with many blooms now and is at its best show. They will soon fade one by one as they start to set seed. These lilies are always a good standby in any garden. The orange lilies are so resistant to deer and bugs. They are heat resistant also , therefore making them a great filler among all the other blossoms.
Southern Stars, Yes, that is what Jeanne Kaye calls this lovely orange and blue quilt. It is 61"x 80" and is quilted in the pattern called "Stars" by Dave Hudson. Jeanne Kay says its a great way to use up some of her scraps and I have to agree. We are always looking for ways to do that because scraps seem to multiply. Don"t you agree quilters? This is a lovely southern star pattern and it looks great with the meandering stars all over. Bye , until Monday. Gwenda
