Nice to be Back

It is nice to be back after the holidays and in the swing of things. I will try to post some of the works and quilting we have done before Christmas and in the New Year. I just returned from a great quilt retreat this week and will now try to catch up. Hope you enjoy these pics.                                

Trees

I managed to get this tree wall hanging done just before  Christmas. It was done using an overall stipple and variegated thread. The receiver really enjoyed this gift.

Kaylie's Quilt

                                           

The quilt is a present for Kaylie, she loves to figure skate. The back of the quilt is flannel and she will be able to snuggle in it after her trips to the rink. The pattern is cloud nine petite and will provide her with pleasant dream as she dozes off to sleep.

Carmel's Custom Quilt

Carmel gave us permission to customize this quilt. The outside border is called Janice border pattern. The border in pink is harvest wheat, and the inside border was Kitty and Daisies, how they came up with the name for the inside border is beyond me. 

Red Cardinals

You can tell that winter is here when the red cardinals start showing up.   Loved quilting this quilt by Jen.

The Red Braid

This Red Braid Quilt by Anita is stunning.  We loved using this whimizical daisy feather design to meander up the braids.

We just love this Bubbles pattern in red thread. Don't you think that it perfectly accentuates the square red design of this quilt.  Great Quilt Sally.
