I've been working like a dog , trying to think of what I can blog next. The gardens are not ready for spring flowers yet, as the snow continues to recede. This little dog is enjoying the fresh air and warmer temperatures and very wary of anyone that comes near him.
Our quilt today is a quilt I have just finished making and it is from the "Nickel Quilting" book titled "More Nickel Quilts" by Pat Speth. The quilt is "Mystery Flower Garden". There was lots of piecing to do in this quilt and you can see some of the blocks below that make up this quilt. The border is constructed with Half-Square Triangles. This quilt is 80" x 90" and quilted in the pattern of "Daisy May " in the centre. The borders are quilted "Festive Daisy" which gives it a large pretty border. The backing of this quilt is made up of Hydrangeas all over. You can't see much of the quilting on the pattern but my customer loves the floral print. This is a cozy quilt and will look lovely on any Queen size bed. See you next time. Gwenda Quilts
