Bevs favourite birds

 I just love this beautiful bird panel that Bev brought us to quilt. It is so colorful. The outside border is done in a vine pattern in burgundy. The inside border pattern is Harvest Wheat. These patterns go beautifully together. The rest of the wall hanging is a stipple meander. This is a  lovely piece.

Valentine Greetings

Wishing you a happy Valentine Day. I made this table mat with four large hearts meeting in the centre. Each heart has a nine  patch in the centre. This mat shows of my Amaryllis beautifully, don't you think?  The quilting we did on this is called Textured Hearts and is a very nice meander pattern.



Van Gogh on Ann's Quilt

The Van Gogh pattern has been a lot of fun on quilts. It is a pattern for the young and the young at heart.

Kaiya's Quilt

This is a row quilt I made for our granddaughter Kaiya, she likes bright colors. We quilted this quilt with  a Cloud Nine Petite pattern all over. Didn't want to make it any busier than it is. It is a lot of fun. Don't you think?

Nice to be Back

It is nice to be back after the holidays and in the swing of things. I will try to post some of the works and quilting we have done before Christmas and in the New Year. I just returned from a great quilt retreat this week and will now try to catch up. Hope you enjoy these pics.                                

Trees

I managed to get this tree wall hanging done just before  Christmas. It was done using an overall stipple and variegated thread. The receiver really enjoyed this gift.

Kaylie's Quilt

                                           

The quilt is a present for Kaylie, she loves to figure skate. The back of the quilt is flannel and she will be able to snuggle in it after her trips to the rink. The pattern is cloud nine petite and will provide her with pleasant dream as she dozes off to sleep.
